Trading Vietnam Coffee Export Surpasses Seafood in Q1/2025
In Q1 of 2025, Vietnam’s coffee exports reached a record high, surpassing seafood to become the second-largest agricultural export by value, just behind timber. According to data from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam exported 509,500 tons of coffee in the first three months of the year, generating $2.88 billion in revenue—a 49.5% increase in value despite a 12.9% drop in volume year-over-year.
