In the first four months of 2025, Vietnam’s coffee export sector has recorded outstanding growth in export value, with Mexico leading the charge as the fastest-growing market. Remarkably, Mexico has surpassed China to become Vietnam’s 9th largest coffee export destination, thanks to a 54-fold increase in export value compared to the same period in 2024.

Average Price Surges in China
Despite a slight decline in export volume, Vietnam’s coffee export value to China rose by 25.3%, driven by soaring prices. The average price reached USD 5,334/ton in Q1/2025 — up 78.9% from the same period in 2024.
Outlook: Will Vietnam’s Coffee Exports Exceed USD 7 Billion in 2025?
With prices remaining high and demand across key markets showing no signs of slowing, many experts believe Vietnam could surpass USD 7 billion in coffee export revenue by the end of the year — setting a new national record.
