Description
Spray dried instant arabica coffee (SD06) is the only single-species arabica powder in our spray dried range: 100% Vietnam arabica, roasted, extracted and spray dried into a fully soluble powder. The cup is smooth and light, with a gentle sour note, mild bitterness and an herbal aroma, and noticeably less caffeine than our robusta grades.
SD06 is for brands that want “100% arabica” on the label and a softer coffee in the cup. If your consumers expect the punch of Vietnamese robusta, one of our robusta grades or blends will suit them better.
Is Spray Dried Instant Arabica Coffee Right for Your Brand?
It is if your market prefers a mild, aromatic black coffee or you are building a premium line around arabica. SD06 gives light acidity and gentle bitterness instead of robusta’s heavy body. If you want arabica character at a lower cost, a robusta–arabica blend such as SD04 or SD05 is often the better compromise.

Taste Profile & Applications
Spray dried instant arabica coffee reads as clean and gentle: a light sour brightness up front, mild bitterness, and an herbal aroma when you open the jar. It works best where the coffee is drunk black or with a little milk and the shopper pays for “100% arabica”.
- Premium black instant in glass jars or sticks under your brand.
- Arabica-labeled private label for supermarkets, cafés and online brands.
- Lower-caffeine positioning next to a robusta line (SD06 is not decaffeinated).
- Blending base for your own formulas, combined with our robusta powders.
Not the right fit for low-cost 3-in-1 mixes, where sugar and creamer mask arabica’s finer notes; a robusta grade gives more coffee impact per kilo there.
Processing & Quality Control
Our spray dried instant arabica coffee runs through the same plant and the same ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP system as our robusta and blend grades. The arabica is roasted, extracted with hot water, concentrated and spray dried into powder. Spray drying is the economical choice; freeze drying keeps more of the aromatic attributes but typically costs more, which is why we also offer a freeze-dried arabica.
A certificate of analysis (COA) travels with every shipment, and pre-shipment samples (PSS) or SGS, Cotecna or Vinacontrol inspection can be arranged before loading.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does SD06 taste like?
SD06 is smooth and light, with a gentle sour brightness, mild bitterness and an herbal aroma. It is softer and less heavy than our robusta powders, which makes it a good black coffee for consumers who find robusta too strong. Order a sample and taste it side by side with your current product.
Is SD06 decaffeinated?
No. SD06 is regular 100% arabica, which naturally contains less caffeine than robusta, so the cup is milder than our robusta grades. If you need a decaf product, ask our team about decaffeinated coffee options and we will tell you what is available for the current season.
Should I choose spray dried or freeze dried arabica?
Choose spray dried for a fine powder at a lower cost, which suits most jars, sticks and blending. Choose freeze dried if aroma and a granule look matter most and your price point allows it. We supply both, so you can sample the two side by side before deciding.
