A new establishment called Cafe Café, run by veteran Broadway performer Jackie Nguyen has taken centre stage in Kansas City, Missouri, and is dedicated to celebrating Vietnam’s coffee and culture.
Inside the 1,200 square meter cafe, warm hues and cultural symbols are portrayed in a fusion of traditional and modern styles coming from all angles.
The murals by North Carolina-based muralist Love Letter Creative give Nguyen a clear picture of a lively introduction to Vietnamese cuisines and spirits both inside and out.
In late 2020, Nguyen opened Cafe Café, which is a dragon-faced mobile coffee trailer and, as of last month, a spectacular brick and mortar business in the Columbus Park district of Kansas City, using a filter machine, traditional recipes, Vietnamese-grown coffee, and unshakable enthusiasm.
For years, the roasted coffee from New York-based Nguyen Coffee Supply has been the foundation of Cafe Coffee’s beverage selection, featuring 100% robusta brewed True Grit for home espresso.
